[English]

In this study, it has been tried to examine the NCPAP cap for hospitalization of infants in the NICU ward and to examine the problems and inconveniences created for infants by using the observation tool, extracting problems and the quality of its various wards. Based on the basic-applied research method, all the effective variables in the design and comfort of this special hat were examined and action was taken to optimize, were upgraded and designed new hat. In order to achieve a more desirable result, all 70 staff of hospitals which have this Special Care Section in Yazd city, filled out a questionnaire and were evaluated by K-S, t-test and Friedman test on SPSS software. Based on the results, all variables in the questionnaire have a significant effect and are needed by nurses, so in four parts of the hat, including the attachment to the child's head, microjet section, were optimized using a new design, gender reassignment and hat shape were redesigned too. Finally, the designed hat reached the sewing stage and was sent to hospitals with a special ward for children in Yazd for approval. The sewn hat has been approved and is now available for use.
