The current study used the sol-gel method to synthesize SBA-15 nanoparticles from a tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) precursor. They were used to remove acid blue 62 dye after being mixed with poly amidoamine and ZIF-8. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, nitrogen adsorption and desorption (BET), and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) were used to evaluate the synthesized combination morphology. The optimal levels of the factors that affected dye removal were found to be 3, 0.02 g, 60 minutes, 25°C, and 100 ppm, respectively that these variables included pH, amount of adsorbent, time of contact, temperature, and concentration. The type of adsorbent isotherm was also determined by applying pseudo-first and pseudo-second-order adsorption synthetic equations and the Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin, and Dubinin–Radushkevich models. Additionally, the research's findings on enthalpy and Gibbs free energy showed a spontaneous mechanism that produced heat. The findings indicated that the pseudo-second-order model (R2 = 0.9974) for kinetics studies and Langmuir (R2 = 0.9929, qm =1000 mg/g) for adsorption isotherms suited the data the best. Additionally, the study's enthalpy and Gibbs free energy data showed an exothermic and spontaneous process.
