Information asymmetry between managers and financiers is one of the fundamental challenges facing manufacturing companies, including textile units, in attracting capital, and signaling theory suggests that marketing intangibles can reduce this gap as valid signals. Accordingly, this study aims to identify, analyze, and conceptually cluster the marketing indicators that are effective in the financing process. The method was a systematic qualitative content analysis of 97 valid articles extracted from the Web of Science database (1945–2025) using MAXQDA software, in which clusters were formed through conceptual clustering based on code co-occurrence analysis. Coding resulted in the extraction of 62 codes and their organization into 6 conceptual clusters, and based on the frequency of occurrence in the literature, the "brand and reputation signals" cluster proved the most central; this result, however, does not necessarily mean that it is more effective in practice, and determining its actual relative importance requires empirical testing. Overall, the findings indicate that relying solely on retrospective financial reports is not sufficient for attracting capital, and that companies can benefit from moving from individual indicators to a coherent "signaling basket".
