Focus on reverse logistics and supply chain processes is steadily increasing across all markets, including industrial, high-tech, commercial, and consumer product sectors. However, despite this growing attention, reverse logistics is characterized by inherent complexities that amplify the necessity of designing an antifragile structure. The present study aims to develop a comprehensive framework for assessing the antifragility of reverse logistics within the textile industry, serving as a strategic roadmap for managers to ensure successful execution. In terms of objective, this study is applied, and methodologically, it adopts a mixed-methods (qualitative-quantitative) approach. The target population comprises industry experts, supply chain specialists, and managers of Laleh Mehregan Company, who were selected using a purposive, non-probability judgmental sampling technique. In the qualitative phase, the initial indicators of reverse logistics antifragility were extracted and contextualized through directed content analysis of the literature and semi-structured interviews with 10 experts, and subsequently screened and statistically validated using the binomial test. In the quantitative phase, using a standardized SMART (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique) questionnaire, expert evaluations were synthesized to determine the importance weights and final rankings of the criteria and sub-criteria. The antifragility criteria validated by the experts include risk acceptance, organizational structure, learning, high reliability, system flexibility (softness), and support systems. The empirical results demonstrate that the most critical indicators driving reverse logistics antifragility in the textile industry are substitutable systems, relatively independent organizational structures, the availability of support systems, collaboration, learning from mistakes, and highly trained personnel.
