Abstract

Today, with increasing development of digital technologies and their use to promote and accelerate artistic production trends as well as decrease the utilization of traditional methods, the use of computers has had a special place in fashion design. In this study, 3D garment design systems using interactive genetic algorithms and k-means clustering is proposed. Using the software 3D garment design, components swimsuit includes top style, waist and bottom style, and individually designed in three dimensions has been saved. Component design 3D garment and fabric designs presented to the user and the user has selected their favorite designs, builds database. 3D Garment designs are created using genetic algorithms. Designs garment on the dummy. The dummy rotation, all parts of the clothing is user-intuition. In the proposed system to reduce fatigue, using k-means clustering the total population is divided to 8 clusters. The user only representative of each cluster evaluate and fitness of other members based on the similarities and fitness each cluster representative determinate by the user is calculated. The results show that a highly capable system which facilitates model design productions to the ultimate satisfaction of the designer.
